It’s personal.

 My friend will call this post performative. He may be right, but as you can see from the picture below I prefer to call it personal, deeply personal.

Donald Trump made fun of and mocked a handicapped reporter. He also told his cousin, Fred that severely handicapped people “should just die,” that they were too costly and expensive. I believe Fred Trump and I believe my eyes and ears.

Donald Trump told a reporter that because he was famous he could grab women “by the pussy.” He was adjudicated as a rapist for shoving his hand into a women’s vagina. I believe E. Jean Caroll and I believe my eyes and ears.

This election is not about policy. It’s not the “Crest vs Colgate” elections of the past, rather this is a “Toothpaste vs Napalm” election for our future. Trust what you see and hear with your own eyes and ears.

The GOP’s odd and new stance on abortion.

For all 51 years of my life the Republican platform included as its core value, life begins at conception. The fight to end Roe v. Wade has/had been going on for as long as I have been alive. Because of this core value, Republicans have stood strong as the “pro-life,” party with no exceptions. In the past, Donald Trump has said about abortion in an overturned Row world “there has to be punishment for the woman.” But after Florida passed their 6 week abortion ban, he criticized Governor Desantis calling it “a terrible mistake.” Trump has recently said of the Florida law that, “6 weeks is too short.” Huh? The leader of the “pro-life” Republican party is now “pro-choice?” JD Vance has stated and written on multiple occasions that he wants a national ban on abortion. In fact, his former public statements on abortion allow for no exceptions.
